Participation in a conference on depopulation: forests as an endogenous resource in Soria

Our postdoc Dario Domingo talked about the importance of forests as an endogenous resource in Soria at the Conference on depopulation organized by the Instituto de Estudios Europeos from University of Valladolid. The speaker concluded that forests provide a variety of ecosystem services and the provision of timber and non-timber products that are essential for socio-economic development of Soria province. The different speakers discussed the relevance of depopulation within a European context.
