We are very pleased to welcome Xavier Takam Tiamgne, PhD student at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences —Copperbelt University, Zambia— to the Cambium Research Group. Xavier is currently working on assessing the impact of mining on the socio-ecological system using an interdisciplinary approach. He will be joining us for 5 months to apply dendrochronological methodologies to reconstruct mining pollutants. His research interest, includes: environmental sustainability, climate change, conservation, livelihood and food security.
