Full Professor

I do research in the field of plant ecology. I try to understand how climate and its interaction with other drivers of global change shape the abundance and growth of plants (and sometimes of fungi). I explore the mid-term temporal perspective of these processes by using annual growth rings, mainly in trees, but also in shrubs and forbs. Sometimes we are able to add a tiny piece to Nature jigsaw. But what I really enjoy is the opportunity to work in the field.
